A month long celebration of Tagore's 125th Birth Anniversary with over 150 artists and scholars from around the world presenting dance dramas, musical events, plays, poetry recitals, seminars, workshops and art exhibitions and a major international conference on Tagore at various prestigious venues all over Britain. Participants included Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Ustad Imarat Khan, Swapan Chaudhuri, Shantidev Ghosh, Kanika Bandopadhyay, Kalim Sharafi, Maya Sen, Amitbha Chaudhuri, Shafaat Hussain Khan, Raymond Head, Bronwen Mills, William Radice. |

Presenting two shows of an award winning and successful play Tiktiki directed adapted from Anthony Schaffer's The Sleuth by an eminent actor, director and recipient of many awards Soumitra Chattopadhyay. The play was produced by a Calcutta based theatre group - Swapna Sandhani. |

Alo Andhakare - a composite programme of song, dance and recitation in May at the Unitarian Church, Golders Green. First Rabindrasangeet Sammelan at Rudolf Steiner Hall in May with Jayati Ghosh of Kolkata and Laisa Ahmed Lisa of Bangladesh. Celebration of rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam's centenary in October with a composite programme of songs, poems and writings by Nazrul. The script by Dr. Ghulam Murshid, and songs by eminent Nazrulsangeet artists from Bangladesh Nilufar Yasmin and Khairul Anam Shakeel. |

Rabindra Sammelan – a celebration of Tagore’s birth anniversary with Tagore’s portrayal of women’s love by Anchalik from Birmingham, Tagore songs based on Western compositions by Anuradha & Pushan Pal Chowdhury from Cardiff, and a composition based on Tagore's poem "Africa" by "Kalamandir" from New Jersey, USA - in May. A musical evening on Kadambari Devi with recitations by Mr Soumitra Mitra, an eminent orator and actor and songs by Ananda Gupta and Manoshi Barua in August. |
