Voices of Bengal I - bringing together for the first time on stage in Britain artists from India and Bangladesh presenting dramas, songs, dance dramas, dances and exhibition of books at the Shaw Theatre in London.

A month long celebration of Tagore's 125th Birth Anniversary with over 150 artists and scholars from around the world presenting dance dramas, musical events, plays, poetry recitals, seminars, workshops and art exhibitions and a major international conference on Tagore at various prestigious venues all over Britain. Participants included Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Ustad Imarat Khan, Swapan Chaudhuri, Shantidev Ghosh, Kanika Bandopadhyay, Kalim Sharafi, Maya Sen, Amitbha Chaudhuri, Shafaat Hussain Khan, Raymond Head, Bronwen Mills, William Radice.

Voices of Bengal II - at the Commonwealth Institute, London.

Jawaharlal Nehru Festival celebrating Nehru centenary hosting lectures, international commemorative conference, and musical concerts at the Commonwealth Institute, Royal Festival Hall and Harrow School (where Nehru studied). Participants included Sir Richard Attenborough, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Ustad Alla Rakha, Pt. Ashish Khan, Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri, Lady Pamela Hicks, B. K. Nehru, Prof. Nemai Sadhan Bose.

Presenting two shows of an award winning and successful play Tiktiki directed adapted from Anthony Schaffer's The Sleuth by an eminent actor, director and recipient of many awards Soumitra Chattopadhyay. The play was produced by a Calcutta based theatre group - Swapna Sandhani.

Alo Andhakare - a composite programme of song, dance and recitation in May at the Unitarian Church, Golders Green. First Rabindrasangeet Sammelan at Rudolf Steiner Hall in May with Jayati Ghosh of Kolkata and Laisa Ahmed Lisa of Bangladesh. Celebration of rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam's centenary in October with a composite programme of songs, poems and writings by Nazrul. The script by Dr. Ghulam Murshid, and songs by eminent Nazrulsangeet artists from Bangladesh Nilufar Yasmin and Khairul Anam Shakeel.

Millennium celebration at the Kalamandir, Calcutta on 26th December as a part of the Tagorean's tribute to Subinoy Roy, Kanika Bandopadhyay, Suchitra Mitra, Maya Sen, Soumitra Chatterjee and Supriyo Tagore. The Tagoreans performed a composite programme of songs, dances and recitations called Ganer Bhitor Diye.

Seminar on Bengali Literature - Pre Tagore & Post Tagore - Tagore influence at the Nehru Centre in June. Third Rabindrasangeet Sammelan at Rudolf Steiner Hall in June participated by Nupur & Diganta. The Tagoreans performed "Banshi". Bhanusingher Padabali - Tagore Dance Drama at the Nehru Centre in July. Third Rabindrasangeet Sammelan at the Rudolf Steiner Hall in June. Ananda - Mela - a fair for selling food and crafts at the Swiss Cottage Community Centre in December.

Celebration of the poet Tagore's birthday on 4th May at the Golders Green Unitarian Church. Bhanusingher Padabali held at Mariott Hotel, London in July 2002 on invitation of the Silver Jubilee Reunion of CMC. Tomar Binay Gaan Chilo - a composite programme of Tagore songs, dance and recitation at the Intimate Theatre on 14th July - participated by Purnima Ghosh and Jayashree Dasgupta of Kolkata.
